Villa Borobudur Resort, Magelang

My family and I stayed in the Marabu villa and the experience was simply lovely. The villa featured three spacious en-suite bedrooms and a private pool that offered amazing views of the lush valley. The decor combined traditional Javanese aesthetics with modern comforts creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. We spent lovely evenings together, enjoying the serene settings that truly felt like paradise.

Dining at the resort was an absolute treat! We ordered meals from a diverse menu and I was consistently impressed with the fresh, flavorful dishes presented. From the delectable nasi goreng to the delicious desserts, each meal exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was served promptly every morning, making it a good way to start the day while soaking in the views.

The spa facilities at the resort are a must-try. I indulged in a traditional Javanese massage that left me feeling rejuvenated. The tranquil environment surrounding the spa complements the treatment perfectly, allowing for a peaceful and restorative experience. Whether it was lounging by the picturesque swimming pool or enjoying a relaxing massage, the leisure options were really good!

The resort offers very nice cultural experiences that added a unique twist to my stay. I loved taking part in the cooking classes, where I learned to make traditional dishes with fresh ingredients. The classes were not only fun and interactive but also provided us with valuable insights into Javanese cuisine. Sharing these new skills with my family was definitely a highlight of our trip.
